SESSION ONE Staying Grounded|Connecting to Your Breath & Your Body
Between this week and next, keep finding time to connect with your breath. Anytime, Anywhere. Just close your eyes and bring awareness to your breath. Allow yourself to inhale and exhale. Allow yourself to exhale out loud no matter where you are. Allow yourself to relax. Knowing that deeply exhaling triggers your body’s relaxation response. As you do so, also take time to connect to your body, bringing awareness to your feet and notice how you are connected to and supported by the earth. Remember that connecting to your breath and body are resources that allow you to feel grounded, rooted, centered, balanced, supported and connected.
And, take time to reflect in your journal – Reflection|Journal Keeping.
SESSION II – Staying Grounded with Yoga Nidra
This week’s session will be offered as audio only; however, our video shows you how to set up for the session so that you feel comfortable and supported.
Between this week and next, keep finding time to connect with your breath AND your body. Anytime. Anywhere. You can use the yoga nidra audio we provided this week to help you relax physically so that you can also relax mentally, emotionally and energetically. Practicing yoga nidra will allow you to deepen your connection with your breath and body. Remember that your body and breath are resources that allow you to feel grounded, rooted, centered, balanced, supported and connected. Remember that connecting to your body and breath are tangible, concrete ways for you to practice restorative self-care and support your overall sense of well-being.
